Enhance your salads with a burst of delicious homemade garlic croutons. Adding the perfect crunch and burst of garlic flavour to complement fresh salads in every bite.
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas.
To prepare the croutons, break up the sourdough and set aside.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, butter, parsley, pepper and mix well. Add the sourdough pieces to the bowl and use your hands to cover them with the mixture.
Step 3
Once coated, spread the croutons on a large baking sheet, making sure any butter residue from the bowl goes onto the baking sheet.
Step 4
Cook in the oven for 8 minutes until golden. Once cooked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated parmesan. And once cooled, serve sprinkled on salads, soups or pasta dishes.
